Flavien Rousé is a French executive creative, and founder of NKFR, based in Bangkok. With over 15 years across brands, agencies, and production, he has worked with brands like LVMH, Sephora, and foodpanda, shaping campaigns across the world.
He operates at the intersection of creative direction and decision-making—bringing a dual perspective as both a creative and someone who hires and evaluates talent for global brands. Today, alongside his production work, he helps directors, photographers, and talents refine their positioning and build work that actually gets selected.
Flavien Rousé is a French director, executive producer, and creative strategist based in Bangkok, Thailand. With over 15 years of experience across Europe and Asia, his work sits at the intersection of film, photography, and visual storytelling—spanning fashion, luxury, entertainment, and branded content.
He is the co-founder of NKFR (No Kidding For Real), a hybrid creative production and talent company working across Asia and internationally. Through NKFR, he develops commercial campaigns, documentaries, and original content, collaborating with global brands including LVMH, Sephora, Guinness, Nissan, and L’Oréal.
Before founding NKFR, Flavien held senior creative leadership roles across the region, including Regional Director of Creative Production at foodpanda APAC, Creative Lead at ZALORA, and Managing Director at Wilhelmina Thailand. Across these roles, he led large-scale productions, built creative teams, and oversaw campaigns across more than a dozen markets.
This trajectory—spanning brand, agency, and production—gives him a rare, practical understanding of how creative work is evaluated, selected, and executed in the real world.
His work often explores themes of identity, perception, and human connection, with a focus on clarity, emotion, and cultural relevance. Recognized as part of Campaign Asia’s 40 Under 40, he continues to push the boundaries between commercial and original storytelling.
Alongside his directing and production work, Flavien works directly with photographers, directors, and visual artists to refine their portfolios, strengthen their positioning, and better understand how their work is perceived by those who commission it.
His approach is straightforward: good work is not enough—what matters is whether it is understood, differentiated, and chosen.
